What Does The NELP Mean For You?
Running time: Approx 60 Minutes
The Statement of National Education and Learning Priorities (NELP) is a key document identifying the Ministry of Education’s view of what is most important for educational organisations, across all sectors, in the coming years. The Ministry’s website indicates that support for services “to incorporate the NELP priorities into their plans and practice” will be available from the New Year (2022).

However, experience tells us that initiatives like this are often delayed and/or do not have the reach they need to ensure everyone benefits. This webinar overviews the NELP from an ECE perspective and investigates the implications for strategic/annual planning, quality practice and evaluation. The focus will be on integrating the document into existing systems and processes rather than creating additional ones.
