1-016 Recorded Webinar
Knowing Yourself As A Teacher
Duration: Approx. 50 min
We are all driven by our beliefs, values, and life experiences. This is an unavoidable part of being human. Consequently, our teaching practice is the product of many influences on us, some we are conscious of and others we are not. As teachers, we are expected to be reflective, adaptive, and culturally responsive.

This webinar will support you to uncover and make explicit the key drivers of your practice – what you believe about teaching and learning – and to examine how these influence your actions. You will also be guided to become increasingly aware of what is important to you in your teaching environment and what you need to thrive (not just survive) as a teacher.

It will include strategies to enhance your self-awareness and mindfulness, therefore allowing you to work more intentionally rather than from your ‘default settings’.
