1-041 Recorded Webinar
Talking together Te Kōrerorero
Running time: Approx 75 minutes
Talking together, Te kōrerorero is a Ministry of Education resource that promotes effective, intentional teaching practices so that kaiako can strengthen how they support oral language learning with all children.

Teachers are the most important resource in any ECE setting. The strategies that they use, in deliberate and intentional ways, have powerful potential to affect learning. This idea will be explored in the context of a child-led, socio-cultural curriculum and will be applied to supporting oral language learning. Content will examine practices outlined in the document and will support the development of your practice in this area.

“Language is a taonga and nurturing this treasure is too important to be left to chance.”
